Athletes Honored at the 35th Recognition Banquet

Youngwood, PA - Dr. Tuesday Stanley, president of Westmoreland CCC, presented Tressa Kelly with the 2016 Outstanding Student Athlete Award for her academic and athletic accomplishments at the 35th Annual Athletic Recognition Banquet. Tressa maintained a 3.95 GPA and was a member of the women's soccer team for two years as well as a new student orientation leader. She graduated with an associates of art degree in hotel and travel tourism. Other awards presented in the evening went to Reuben Edwards, Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year and Alysia Dube received the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year. Listed below are the names of the outstanding student athletes by sport as well as the 60 athletes who were recognized for earning a 3.00 GPA or higher in their course work for the fall semester.
