Baseball wins season opener

The baseball team left the cold elements of the northeast  and traveled to Myrtle Beach,  South Carolina to begin their 2014 spring campaign.  Their efforts earned them  a hard fought  5-4 win over Kings College in their season opener.   Freshman,  Matt Hogue picked up the mound win in his first college outing, while Brandon Rowland finished Kings batters  off  late to pick up the save.  Sean Bradley's two hits  led all Wolfpack hitters at the plate.   WCCC (1-0) is back on the diamond today as they face  off with fellow Region XX member and  D I powerhouse Chesapeake College.
