Baseball finishes 2nd in Region

After an opening  9-7 setback to eventual Region XX champion Prince George's CC, the Wolfpack battled their way back in the tournament only to come up short once again. WCCC let a late lead slip away in their region opener to PGCC and then bounced back and defeated region favorite Montgomery College of Maryland 4-2. The win earned the Wolfpack a spot in the championship game and another chance to face off against PGCC. The Owls scored a convincing  8-1 win over the Wolfpack ending their season at 15-13. Tyler Lilja, Matt Shoemaker, Brandon Rowland and Steven Bender were all named to the 2014 Region XX All-Tournament Team.
