Baseball Post Season Awards

Several WCCC baseball players were named to the 2014 NJCAA Region XX All-Region1st team for their outstanding play this season as sophomores Steven Bender and Tyler Lilja led the way for the Wolfpack. Bender batted .416 as an infielder while Lilja posted a .333 batting average in being selected as the region's designated hitter. Freshmen pitcher, Matt Hogue, was 5-2 on the year with a 1.85 ERA rounded out WCCC All-Region selections. Four players were also selected to the All-Region tournament team as sophomores Matt Shoemaker, Brandon Rowland, Bender and Lilja helped WCCC to the regional finals before falling to Prince George's CC.
