Wolfpack Hold on Late for Win

Youngwood, PA - Scoreboard operators were busy at Westmoreland CCC on Tuesday as the Wolfpack and CCAC South combined for 17 runs which eventually saw the Wolfpack win the offensive battle 9-8. The teams banged out 20 hits between them, as well as six for extra bases. Rafael Amanau racked up four RBIs on two hits as his double in the third inning broke open a scoreless game. Even though Michael Baird allowed seven runs over six innings, the southpaw still recorded the victory. Baird struck out eight, walked two and gave up nine hits which helped the Wolfpack improve to 7-9.  The Pack is back at it on Wednesday as they host Garrett College at 4:30 PM.
