Wolfpack Cruise To Win Over Boyce

Monroeville, PA - Jumping out to an early lead on CCAC Boyce helped captured a 15-2 victory on Thursday at Boyce. Eight runs in the first three innings allowed them to put the game away early. Outfielder, Mitch Matlas keeps swinging a hot bat as he went for a perfect 2 for 2 day at the plate.  He added a double and triple to his hit collection on the afternoon. Starting pitcher Brett Vallorani baffled Boyce, striking out six batters. Vallorani allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over seven innings.  With the win, Westmoreland stands at 12-11 and will host CCAC South on Saturday for a noon start.
