Baseball Swinging Hot Bats in Sweep

Youngwood, PA - Ronald Baron was the wrecking ball in the opener against Lorain County Community College as he collected three hits in Westmoreland CCC 10-5 win over Lorain CCC. Brett Vallorani started the game on the bump and picked up the win in allowing five runs, five strikeouts, walking one while surrendering 10 hits over seven innings.  Mitch Matlas and Jake Columbus collected  RBI's.  Giuseppe Schiano was a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate in helping the Wolfpack come from behind in the nightcap to defeat Lorain 12-9 and earn the mid-week sweep.  Schiano also picked up the mound win in relief as Westmoreland saw their record improve to 18-13.
