Draghi Earns 700th Coaching Win

Youngwood, PA - Westmoreland County Community College Head Baseball Coach Mike Draghi earned his 700th career coaching win on Sunday, April 9 in a thrilling 7-6 win over Allegany College of Maryland. Draghi started the baseball program from scratch back in 1992 and in his 25 years of coaching has built Westmoreland into one of the top NJCAA Division III teams and Region XX with a career record to date of 701-635-1. He's guided his teams to two NJCAA Division III College World Series appearance as well as sending numerous players onto play at various levels within the NCAA at the division I, II, III levels plus numerous NAIA colleges over his tenure. Athletic Director Dick Holler stated: 'I'm happy for Mike in reaching his 700th career win with the program, he's been committed to the college and program over the years. More importantly, he and his coaches have built Westmoreland into a high character baseball program which speaks volumes to all past and present players who put on the Wolfpack uniform."
