Baseball Ends Season in WPCC

Butler, PA - The 2017 men's baseball season came to an end with a disappointing 9-8 loss to Butler County Community College in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference semi-finals. Westmoreland led the majority of the game but gave up the lead in the latter innings to the Pioneers. The Wolfpack had their chances at a late inning comeback but they stranded the game tying and winning runners on the base in the bottom half of the ninth. That setback seemed to sum up how the season went for the 2017 team as they finished at 9-19. Four players were named to the WPCC All-Conference: Brett Vallorani, Cody Stanoszek, Garrett Stevenson and Cameron Gerhard for their stellar play throughout the season.
