Gerhard Named Gold Glove

Youngwood, PA - The post season honors continue to roll in for Westmoreland's baseball player Cameron Gerhard as he was named to the 2017 Rawlings NJCAA DIII Gold Glove Award as an outfielder. This award was presented to the top NJCAA Division III defensive player in each position by the American Baseball Coaches Association. He was also named to the first team All-Region and earned WPCC All-Conference honors as well. Gerhard fielded a perfect fielding percentage of a .1000 on the season along with hitting .342 to go along with 16 RBI's and three homeruns. Cam joins past winners, Brett Vallorani and Mitch Matlas as ABCA Gold Glove recipients. Congratulations Cam!
