Lions Silence Wolfpack's Bats in Loss

Penn State Dubois's solid pitching and timely hitting lead to a pair of wins over visiting Westmoreland County Community College Monday night by the scores of 4-0 and 12-2.  The Wolfpack out hit the Lions in game one, six to four but just couldn't manage to get on the scoreboard with a timely hit. Southpaw TJ Lux pitched six strong inning and was tagged with the opening loss. It was all Dubois in game two, as the Wolfpack had no answer for the Penn State Dubois line up as the Lions touched up 12 runs in their win dropping Westmoreland to (0-8) on their early spring season.  

Batter's Box:  Cory Saus paced the Wolfpack with two hits as Dylan Procopio, Kevin Garcia, Branson Auckerman and TJ Lux all added hits.

On Deck: Westmoreland will host Region III Jamestown Community College on Friday and Saturday in a weekend double header with both games starting at Noon.
