Men win conference opener and drop weekend match-up

It didn't take long for the men's basketball team to find their game,  as they opened up conference play with a 70-67 win over CCAC Boyce.  The Wolfpack squandered leads of 10 and 14 points in the second half, only to hold off Boyce in the closing minutes with strong foul shooting.  WCCC receives solid scoring from Jordan Ruggiero  19 points,  Zachary Smith's 13 points followed up by Cody Monroe's 11 points, in helping  WCCC improve to (1-0, 2-11).

It was tale of two halves as WCCC men's basketball team played host to the Cougars of CCAC Allegheny.  The Wolfpack played a solid first half but they just couldn't overcome the athleticism of Allegheny, as CCAC strolled to a 92-70 win over the Pack.  Zachary Smith led all Wolfpack scorers with 25 points while Tyler Dickey netted 14 points. With the split, WCCC sets at (1-1, 2-12) on the young season.
