Colosimo stepping down

Head men's basketball coach Andrew Colosimo informed athletic director Dick Holler that he'll be stepping down from his coaching duties at the end of the season.  Colosimo enters his 5th season as head coach at WCCC with a record of 33-70. Prior to taking over the men's program, he severed 2 years  as the assistant coach under former head coach Ron Gazze.  Andrew was instrumental in helping build the program from scratch in 2007.  Colosimo stated "I want to thank athletic director Dick Holler and the administration for giving me this great opportunity to coach at the college level and for their continuous support over the years.  It's been great and the one thing I'll miss most is the interactions with the players day in and day out".   Holler noted, "Andrew always had the players best interest at hand, he was a solid teacher of the game and well liked by his players.  I wish him and his family nothing but the best."

Colosimo is also a full time faculty member at WCCC and outside of his classroom, he'll have an interest in the program he helped build. "It's going to be tough to walk away but I'll keep in touch. I really enjoyed my time here coaching, WCCC's a great place!"

The Woflpack and Colosimo are focusing on finishing up their season strong which will lead them into the WPCC playoffs beginning February 14th.
