Men's basketball drops season opener

Freshman Reuben Edwards started off his college career by lighting up the net in scorching a team game high 37 points in WCCC's season opener loss to Penn State Greater Allegheny 84-73.  The Wolfpack put together a late charge to cut the lead to 6 with just under 5 minutes left in the game but couldn't manage that pivotal bucket to make it a one possession game.  Norman Ellis tossed in a strong 10 points on the afternoon for the Wolfpack (0-1). The Wolfpack will host their annual NJCAA Tip-Off Classic November 7 and 8 playing Lehigh Carbon Community College on Friday at 8:00 p.m. followed by Anne Arundel Community College on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
