Thrilling Weekend for Men's Basketball

Youngwood, PA - Well, it was tale of two games, the men's basketball team strolled to a 103-80 win Friday night over Lehigh Carbon CC in their opening game of the WCCC Tip Off Classic.  Reuben Edwards netted a season high 44 points while Jordan Johnson added 16 points followed by Norman Ellis's 11 points.  Game 2 tipped off against Anne Arundel CC which saw the Wolfpack jump out to a 22 point lead only to see WCCC lose that lead late in the second half but they fought back for nail-biting 73-70 win over the Riverhawks. Edwards added 35 points while Johnson assisted with 21 points. The weekend sweep improves the men's record to 3-1 on the season. Edwards, Johnson and Ellis were named to the All-Tournament Team for their stellar play. The team will travel to University of Pittsburgh Titusville on Monday for a 7:00 p.m. start.
