Late Surge Drops Men's Basketball

Youngwood, PA - Potomac State College used a strong closing finish over the last five minutes to take home an 84-79 win over Westmoreland as they dropped to (8-15) on the year. There was plenty of action as the game was tied with just under five minutes left but the Catamounts used timely scoring to go along with a few key defensive stands and that was the difference as Westmoreland just couldn't match their output from baseline to baseline. Ja'Kory Freeman slashed home 31 points on the afternoon while Joaunn Rivers assisted his backcourt partner with 20. Kyle Carrington chipped in 13 points in the non-conference matchup.
