#8 ERIE BESTS WESTMORELAND

GREENSBURG, Pa. - Paced by five scores in double figures, undefeated Erie Community College notched a 110-37 victory over the Westmoreland County Community College men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Seton Hill University.

Erie (10-0), who entered the game ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division II poll, scored the first 24 points of the game before freshman Shawn Wilson hit a bucket for the Wolfpack (0-9). Wilson would go on to score a team-leading 14 points and added four assists in the defeat. It's the second highest total of the season for Wilson behind his 16-point effort against Hocking College on Nov. 11.

Freshman guard Luke Stein also reached double digits for Westmoreland, as he buried four three-pointers and tallied 12 points. Leading the balanced Erie offense were Ahamadou Fofana and Michael Motley with 15 points each.

The Wolfpack schedule is complete for the first semester and they will return to the court Jan. 3rd with a road game at Penn State DuBois.
