Westmoreland wins their Fourth Game of the Season

The wolfpack took on Lorain County Community College at home on Tuesday night. This game was the last home game of a five-game home stand. Westmoreland won the game by a score of 88 to 86 which marks their 4th win of the season.

In a commanding first half performance, Westmoreland jumped out to a 56-33-point halftime lead. This was the biggest halftime lead of the season for the wolfpack. Nate Papuga was four of four from the three-point arch and Lorenzo Gardner had two break away dunks to highlight some of the first half action.

In the second half, Westmoreland started out slow and Lorrain started clawing back into the game. It became a back fourth contest down the stretch but the wolfpack did enough to secure the victory. Lorenzo Gardner led Westmoreland in scoring with 32 points including going 12 of 14 from the foul line. Nate Papuga ended up with 18 points and Colin Masten chipped in a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The wolfpack will travel to CCBC Dundalk on Saturday for a regional game and their last game before the holiday break
