Bowlers on Top of Game

Verona, PA -  The 2017 men's and women's bowing season is underway and once again Westmoreland seems poised to make another strong run at the WPCC and Region titles this season. The Wolfpack women seem to be firing on all cylinders early on the season as they secured the top three series spots at the CCAC Boyce match as Julienne Goehring posted a 609 followed by Morgan Dube's 582 and Jackie Wiggin's 565. Dube also rolled a game high 235. Shawn Heacox rounded out the top performance on the afternoon for the men as his series of 587 was good for third place in the mens' lanes. Heacox also bowled a 217 individual game while David Thomas total of 211 was fourth best on the afternoon. Westmoreland will host their first team match of the season on Tuesday, January 24 starting at 3:00 p.m. at The Main Bowling Center, Greensburg, PA.
