Wolfpack downs Lakers

WCCC softball closed out their regular season finale with impressive wins over Garrett College 7-0 and 23-2.  Renee Jones had a perfect day at the plate going 4 for 4 as Haley Ames added three hits to go along with three RBI's.  Chelsea Houser added three hits and Carrie Smith posted a double. Melanie Welc picked up both circle wins on the day to go along with three hits as WCCC finished the regular season at 15-9. The Wolfpack earned the #2 seed and will  face #3 seeded Ann Arundel CC in the opening round at Prince George's CC May 2-4 starting at 2:00 PM. The two teams split an earlier season doubleheader as the 2014 Region XX Champion earns a ticket to the 2014 NJCAA D III Softball World Series in Rochester, Minnesota.
