Softball season ends

Errors were  too costly in the Wolfpack's opening Region XX tournament game.  The Wolfpack jumped out early 2-0, only to watch Anne Arundel CC take advantage of their miscues on route to an 11-2 win over WCCC. The Pack looked like a different team in their elimination game as they rebounded to defeat Montgomery College-MD 16-0. The rematch with Anne Arundel CC had a similar taste as the Wolfpack led once again 2-0 only to have costly errors add to their 11-3 defeat. The loss ended their rain-shortened season for the Wolfpack at 10-14.  WCCC received solid performances from Derica Crowley, Brianna Crawford, Rachael Gerstel, Wendi Walsh, Mackenzie Mull and Leigha Arison.  Crowley and Crawford were named to the 2015 All-Tournament team for their stellar play.
