Softball Keeps Rolling
Brittany Crawford's infield dribble scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning as the Wolfpack pulled out an exciting 7-6 win over Anne Arundel Community College in Region XX play. Game two was in favor of the Wolfpack as they tied up the River Hawks 7-3. Jessica Raschiatore and Jessica Taylor both tagged four hits apiece during the doubleheader win. Lindsay Herron, Crawford and Wendi Walsh all added two RBI's while Kylie Gansor and Rachael Gerstel each picked up circle wins. On Saturday, the Wolfpack took home a pair of hard fought wins over Garrett College 6-1 and 2-1. Jessica Taylor and Brianna Crawford added a pair of hits while Shelby Kimmick cracked two doubles and a pair of RBI's. Lindsay Herron was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate as she continues to swing a red hot bat. Gerstel and Raschiatore took home mound wins on the afternoon. Finally, the Wolfpack traveled to CC of Beaver County and brought home a pair of wins 14-2 and 23-2 which had the ladies improve to 16-2. Up next the Wolfpack will travel to Potomac State College on Wednesday for a mid-week showdown starting at 3 p.m.
