Softball Splits to Start Off Season
Monaca, PA - The 2017 softball season is finally upon us as the Wolfpack opened their season on the road with a sweep over the Community College of Beaver County 11-8 & 14-7 but they went on to drop their home opener the next day to Penn State Fayette 5-2 & 8-2. Westmoreland had numerous chances to win the opening game at home but just couldn't manage timely hits as they fell (2-2) on the season. Up next: home game Sunday against Lorain County Community College starting at Noon.
