Softball Season Comes to an End

Youngwood, PA - The women's softball season ended Saturday at the 2017 Region XX Softball Championships by the scores of 11-0 and 8-1. Westmoreland got shut out in their opening regional game by eventual Region XX champion Butler County Community College 11-0. Up next, the Wolfpack faced off against the Riverhawks of Anne Arundel Community College which saw the Riverhawk's stroll to an 8-1 win, ending the season for Westmoreland at 8-15. Hannah Guldin, Shelby Kimmick and Chelsi Bartlow were all named to the All-Region Tournament Team for their play at regionals.
