Softball Returns To Westmoreland

For the first time since the spring of 2019, the Wolfpack softball team took to their home field for a game.  The 2020 and 2021 seasons were both missed due to issues with the pandemic.  Coach Taylor Bartlow, who had been hired in the fall on 2019, had to wait 2 seasons before finally getting her chance to coach her first game as a head coach.

The all freshman softball team took on Butler County Community College on Saturday in a double header, and the Wolfpack were swept by BC3.  There were a number of standout performers in the games, but Freshman Emily Bauers 3-5 performance was tops on the day.  Bauer had 2 singles, a double, stolen 2 bases, and scored a run.

Next up for Westmoreland is a trip to Penn State New Kensington on March 30th for a 2pm double header start.
