Women's basketball wins season opener

After getting off to slow start on the road, the Wolfpack stayed the course and scrapped out a hard fought 61-58 opening win over neighboring Penn State Greater Allegheny. WCCC was led by sophomore Devon Larkin who posted a double-double with 31 points and 18 rebounds while Wendi Walsh added 14 points for the Wolfpack (1-0). WCCC will host their annual NJCAA Tip-Off Classic November 7 and 8. They will host Lehigh Carbon Community College on Friday at 6:00 p.m. followed by Anne Arundel Community College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
