Lions Hand Ladies First Loss

DuBois, PA - Trailing 34-28 at the half, the WCCC women's basketball team got in their own way to start the second half with costly turnovers and poor foul shooting, which helped Penn State Dubois run out to an early 14 point lead one in which the Wolfpack could not recover from. The Lions rolled to an 82-60 win over the Wolfpack (1-1).  Chelsea Szakal paced the Pack with 20 pts while Brooke Kalp powered in 16 pts and Kara Foster chipped in 10 points on the evening. Up next, WCCC will host their annual Tip Off Classic as they host Lehigh Carbon Community College on Friday at 6:00 PM and will tip off at 2:00 PM on Saturday against Region XX rival Anne Arundel Community College.
