Porter Secures Women's Basketball Win!

Youngwood, PA - After a rough start on the evening, the women's basketball team found their groove in the second half, as they pulled out a come from behind 71-70 win over Point Park JV's. Hanna Porter's basket with 11 seconds put the Wolfpack up three and secured the win for WCCC as Point Park JV's last second basket didn't affect the outcome.  Chelsea Szakal had a night to remember as she muscled in a career high 33 points on the night tying the school scoring record.  Kara Foster and Brittany Crawford both knocked home 11 points apiece to help WCCC to a (5-1) start on the season. The Wolfpack will hit the road on Saturday traveling to Region XX powerhouse Prince George's Community College for a 2:00 p.m. tip off.
