Ladies Dropped in Closing Seconds

Youngwood, PA - Butler County Community College scored the go ahead basket with 45 seconds remaining in the game to secure a 70-67 win over WCCC last night. The Wolfpack had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds to send it to overtime, but the three point shot came up just short.  It was an epic battle all night with the Pioneers as Chelsea Szakal  connected for a game high 30 points, while Brooke Kalp netted 20 points as the Wolfpack dropped to (8-11) on the season.  Kara Foster had an impressive night as well, adding 10 assists, 9 points and 6 steals. WCCC will look to rebound from their setback and will host CCAC South on Monday, February 1 at 6:00 p.m.
