Women's Basketball Flexes Its Muscles

Youngwood, PA - The WCCC's women's basketball team jumped out to an early 18-7 lead and then had to flex their muscles and rely on a strong team defensive effort to defeat Allegany College of Maryland 74-63. WCCC received several solid performances as Brooke Kalp led all WCCC scorers with 22 points as teammates Chelsea Szakal 19 points, Hannah Porter 17 points and Kara Foster's  11 points all topped out the double digit scoring for the Wolfpack in their hard fought win. The ladies improved to (11-11) and will be off until Monday as they will travel to Grove City College to take on their JV team at 7:00 p.m.
