Women's Basketball Season Ends at Regionals

Arnold, MD - The 2016 women's basketball season came to end on Saturday in the Region XX semi-final matchup against Butler County Community College at Anne Arundel Community College, as the Wolfpack dropped a tough 58-45 decision. A cold shooting start doomed the Wolfpack from the start but a gallant effort allowed the Pack to cut the Pioneers lead to 8 with just under four minutes left in the game but that's as close as WCCC would get. Brooke Kalp's 15 points led all WCCC scorers on the afternoon as Hannah Porter assisted with 14 points and Kara Foster assisted with 9 points. With the loss, WCCC finished their season at (12-14). Kalp was also names to the All-Tournament Team for her outstanding play.
