Women's Basketball Wins Season Opener

Youngwood, Pa - The women's basketball team opened their 2017-18 season with an impressive 85-41 win over Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Baylee Riggle opened her sophomore season off with a bang as she scored a team high 18 points on the evening followed by newcomer Mikala Misleany's double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. Rounding out the top scores on the night were, Rachel Garris 13 points, Kylee Surike 12 points and Alyssa Kalp with 9 points. Westmorland (1-0) led the game from the opening tip as all 10 players for the Wolfpack scored on the evening.
