Felix's Hot Shooting Carries Ladies Basketball

Youngwood, Pa - From the Westmoreland County Community College Tip Off Classic over the weekend, freshman Lauren Felix put her name in the Westmoreland County Community College women's basketball record books as she netted 8 three pointers in the Wolfpack's 81-49 win over Lehigh Carbon Community College. Felix continued her assault on the nets as she added another 14 point in a come from behind win over Anne Arundel Community College 78-64. Her 42 points on the weekend included 12 three pointers as Westmoreland improved to (3-0). Mikala Misleany continues to shine in her role as she posted back to back double-doubles by tossing in 13 points/12 rebounds against the Cougars and 12 points/11 over the Riverhawks while Kylee Surike's smooth shooting netted 21 points in the win over Anne Arundel Community College. Felix and Surike were named to the All-Tournament for their outstanding play.
