Women's Basketball Suffers Tough Loss

DuBois, Pa - The women's basketball team suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Penn State Dubois 66-61 falling (3-1) on the young season. Westmoreland shot a dismal 23 for 48 at the foul line which aided in their loss on the evening. Kylee Surike netted a game high 21points as Mikala Misleany and Alyssa Kalp each added 14 points while Misleany pieced together another double-double by adding 15 rebounds. Westmoreland set two free throw attempt records last night as the 48 free throw attempts by a team is a school record and Mikala Misleany set the individual record for most attempts by a player with 22 attempts.
