Ladies Quick Start Leads to Win

Youngwood, PA - Westmoreland County Community College women's basketball team shot lights out in the first half as they jumped out to a 26 point halftime lead and never looked back on their way to a 85-57 win over University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. The win improves the Wolfpack to (12-5, 2-0) on the year. Kylee Surike continues to scorch the nets as she netted a game high 24 points. The freshman duo of Lauren Felix and Hannah Hempfield keep adding to the scoreboard as they chipped home 14 points and 12 points apiece.
