Women's Basketball Improves to 16-5

Youngwood, PA - Mikala Misleany and Baylee Riggle paved the way for the women's basketball team in a 91-43 win over Butler County Community College Monday night. Misleany scored a team high 23 points on the evening while Riggle was right behind with 20. With the win, the women have won the regular season Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference title and will be the top seed in next weekend's tournament. Westmoreland also received balanced scoring from four other players on the evening as Hannah Hempfield added 12 points while Rachel Garris, Kylee Surike and Alyssa Kalp all netted 10 points apiece.
