Wet & Cold Weather Ends Golf Season

Apollo, PA - The 2016 golf season started off with awesome weather in early April which aided great scoring opportunities but Mother Nature took over as the weather worsened during the late spring season and the scoring opportunities climbed. Cold and damp conditions ended the 2016 golf season at the NJCAA Division III Regional Tournament which was hosted by CCAC Boyce at the Links at Spring Church. Region XX golfers were trying to qualify for the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in June at Chautauqua Golf Club in Jamestown, New York. Mitch Anzovino finished in 10th place which ended the season as he compiled a 82 stroke average while Adam Goldinger rounded out his season with a 93 average over the season.
