Surike Wins WPCC Golf Championship

Apollo, Pa - Kylee Surike scored a round of 88-89 on difficult links at the Links at Spring Church golf course over the weekend to win the 2017 WPCC women's golf championships. Surike used her power and length off the tee as well as her soft touch around the greens to hold off Butler County Community College's Julia Fisher and Maggie Reshner of Community College of Allegheny County-North. Kylee separated herself from Fisher with a solid back nine which helped the sophomore secure the trophy. She was also named to the WPCC All-Conference Golf team for her outstanding play this fall as she won every match she participated in throughout the fall.
