Davis Named Women's Soccer Coach

Youngwood, PA - Ashley Davis has been hired by Westmoreland Colllege as the head coach of the women's soccer program. Dick Holler, Director of Student Life/Athletics stated,"Ashley stood out with her strong passion and enthusiasm for the game along with her previous coaching experiences. We felt these experiences are beneficial to the program and our players. It's a great fit for the college and where we're headed and we welcome her to Westmoreland athletics." Ashley is a 2009 graduate of Robert Morris Univeristy and she holds a USSF National "D" license. Over the past seven years, she has coached at a various levels. Most notably, in 2012, Ashley started the first women's soccer program at Penn State Greater Allegheny and more recently coached the Carnegie Mellon's women's club soccer team. Davis stated, "I'm excited for this opportunity and I'm looking forward to getting started."
