Women's Cross Country Finishes 11th at NJCAA Nationals

Canandaigua, NY - The women's cross country team finished their eventful 2016 season with an 11th place finish at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. Westmoreland was led by Gina Mattei with a 40th place finish of 24:59. Kaylin Heatley followed up at 44th at 25:03, Alexa DeFrank 53rd at 25:50, Marissa Luden 59th at 26:17, Shelby Kimmick 65th at 27:33 and Jessica Ruggiero 70th at 28;11. Head coach Patrick Comer stated, "It was a great experience for our team to race against some of the best runners from across the country. Our runners ran well and I'm so proud of their efforts. It's been a great season!"
