WCCC Hosts Cross Country Regionals

Westmoreland CCC hosted the 2013 NJCAA Region XX Division I and Division III men's and women's cross country championships. Over 60 plus runners from western Pennsylvania, Maryland  and Virginia had their sights on claiming the regional titles along with earning a trip to their perspective national  tournament . Hagerstown's  mens  and womens  teams won the Division I titles,  as Howard claimed the mens Division III title.  On the womens side,  Anne Arundel CC took home the women Division III crown.  WCCC  had  several strong showings  as  Kyle Kuntz placed 8^th with a time of  34:04; followed by Sean Cunningham's  43:25 which placed him 27^th.  Kristen Cronin was WCCC's  top  women's place finisher  with a time of 24:05 which landed her in 12^th  place while  Leah Desiderto time of 37:09  was good for 28^th overall.
