Baseball Battles College of Southern MD

On the final day of their trip to Myrtle Beach, the Wolfpack hosted their second straight NJCAA Region 20, Division II, opponent in the College of Southern MD.  Southern Maryland Hawks jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead in the first inning as they went on to win the game 19-3 in 5 innings.  

Cameron DePalma and John Gennaro both homered in the 5th inning to account for the Wolfpack's 3 runs.  Gennaro had a 2 run shot, and DePalma with the solo shot.  Dom Koch also collected 2 more hits bringing his season total to 10 hits, and is hitting .526 on the season.  Ronnie Howard and Kameron Pritts both had a hit a piece for the Wolfpack.

The Wolfpack closed out their trip to Ripken finishing with a 1-3 record on the trip.  They will return home monday morning to start to get ready to host a double header with Jamestown Community College.  The games are set for Thursday afternoon starting at 2pm.  These games will be live streamed through the Westmoreland Ahtletics Facebook page.
