
Wolfpack Win vs St Vincent JV
For the second time this season the Westmoreland County Community College baseball team defeated the St Vincent College JV team, winning their first match up 13-4, winning their second match up 6-3 at St Vincent.
The scoring started with a two run homerun by Kameron Pritts in the second inning. This is Pritts's second homerun in the last two games, in their last game against PSU New Kensington Pritts hit a grand slam. He now had two home runs and six RBI's in the last two games. Brayden Patton added two hits on the day, one being a double to straight away center field. Cameron DePalama blasted a two run triple to make it 4-0 in the fifth inning. Ben Anderson and Aidan McLaughlin both added hits in the game as well.
On the mound DePalma shut the St Vincent JV squad down for the first four innings before a trio of relievers finished the game off. Chaz Lankey (3 innings, Andy Person (1 inning), and Jacob Piktel (1 inning) held the Bearcats to 3 runs over the last five innings. The Wolfpack pitching staff racked up seven strikeouts, and only allowed six hits in the win.
Next up for the Wolfpack will be the NJCAA Region 20 Tournament, which will be Friday and Saturday, at Westmoreland. There will be three games on Friday, and one, two if needed, games on Saturday.
