Sunday afternoon the Westmoreland County Community College baseball team traveled to Greater Latrobe High School to play host CCBC Dundalk in a Region 20 doubleheader.  This was a return to Latrobe High School for sophomore Logan Short, and freshman Anthony Massari, who were keys to Westmoreland's 2 game sweep of the Lions

Game one saw Jacob Smith get the start on the mound and allow one run, on four hits, over his six innings of work. Smith also struck out 7 batter while only walking 2. In the seventh inning Matthew Perez took the mound to close out the game for the Wolfpack. He allowed just one hit, and stuck out one to notch his first career save in Westmoreland's 2-1 win in game one.

Offensively the Wolfpack jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Anthony Massari hit a sacrifice fly to center field allowing John McBride to score from third. Then in the third inning, the Wolfpack struck for their second run as Massari tripled to center field allowing Logan Short to score all the way from first base after walking.

Game two saw Westmoreland strike for three runs in the third inning and six more in the sixth inning to win game two 9-2.

Logan Short, went 3 for 3 driving in two runs for Westmoreland. Perez had one hit and three RBI's. Owen Miller had a big two run single as well. While Dyson Murner and Ethan Wilson added hits for the Wolfpack, and Troy Waugh had a Sac Fly as well.
