UNDEFEATED POTOMAC TAKES WIN AT WESTMORELAND

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - Despite a career-high 26 points from Luke Stein, the Westmoreland County Community College men's basketball team could not slow down unbeaten Potomac State, who scored a 95-55 victory over the Wolfpack Thursday night.

The Catamounts (15-0) scored the game's first 16 points to seize control on their way to a 53-28 halftime lead. Stein swished two thrree-pointers on his way to 10 markers by intermission.

Stein's hot shooting continued in the second half, as he dropped in 16 after the break, including four treys. He hit six three-pointers for the game to set a career-high and his 26 points easily eclipsed his previous high in scoring, which was 16 against Anne Arundel on Nov. 10.

Also reaching double figures in scoring was Dipo Olaneye with 11 points, while Michael Yuricha scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds, giving him double digit boards in four of the last five games. Leading in the assist category was Xavier Johnson, who dished out seven to set a season-high for him.

The Wolfpack will be back on the floor Saturdday when they host CCBC in a 2 pm tip-off.
