Wolfpack Run Cold in Loss at Penn Highlands

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College men's basketball team went through a cold night shooting the basketball and dropped a 108-78 defeat at Penn Highlands in a WPCC contest Monday night.

The Wolfpack were ice cold from the arc, making just 3-of-27 in the game as part of shooting 38 percent from the field. Westmoreland also made only 9-of-17 from the foul line in the game.

One player who did shoot well was center Travis McCoy. He set a career-high with 27 points and matched his season-best with 12 rebounds. Others who finished in double figures were Joel Lonigro with 14 points and he also passed out five assists and Jake Biros tallied 11 points.

Westmoreland will be on its home floor for its next game when CCAC comes to Youngwood for a 1 pm tip-off Saturday afternoon.
