Men's Basketball Travels to Anne Arundel

The men's basketball team tipped off game two of their three game road trip at Anne Arundel Community college on Saturday.  After a bit of a slow start, falling behind 42-27 at the half.  The Wolfpack clawed their way back into the game in the second half, before falling to the River Hawks 89-75.

Jakir Hampton once again led the team in scoring with 24 points, which is right in line with his 24.1 points per game average.  Tahiyr Vines added a double double with 21 points and 13 rebounds (7 offensive and 6 defensive).  Brandon Baird was also a big contributor dropping 16 points, and 8 rebounds, in the loss.

The Wolfpack has fallen to 0-8 on the season, but this game marks the start of their NJCAA Division III portion of the schedule.  To this point the team has been playing four year schools and Division II competition.  They will be back in action again tomorrow as they finish up the road trip at Prince George's Community College.
