Men's Basketball Defeat CCAC

Last night the men's basketball team traveled to Pittsburgh for a WPCC Conference and Region 20 match up against CCAC.  The Wolfpack came out hot, racing out to a 43-24 half time score.  In the second half the Wolfpack were able to maintain the 19 point lead finishing with a final score of 83 to 64.  "We were able to focus on the little things, and fight through adversity at times when they made runs, " said Coach Johnson.  

Joel Lonigro was the top scorer for the Wolfpack, and recorded a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.  Joel was one of four players in double digits in points as Jakir Hampton added 21, and both Noah Raynor-Savage and Jason Pierre added 11 points each.  Brandon Baird also came up big on the boards with 10 rebounds.  

Coach Johnson also mentioned, "With everyone scoring, and multiple players contributing on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, it was a good team win."  Next, the men's basketball team will hit the road this Friday to take on another WPCC Conference team in Penn Highlands at 6pm in Johnstown.
