Back to Back OT Wins for the Wolfpack

The men's basketball team has now played 4 overtime periods in their last two games.  For the second game in a row the Wolfpack went into OT to get the win 88 to 76 against conference and regional rival CCAC.  "Credit CCAC, they came out, and played really hard, but our guys fought through a lot of adversity to pull off a big win,"  said Coach Johnson.

The Wolfpack, winners of 3 of their last 4 games, were lead in scoring by Jakir Hampton and his 26 points.  Tahiyr Vines went 6 for 9 from the field on his way to 16 points.  Two others scored in double digits.  Noah Raynor-Savage with his 14 points and Brandon Baird who had another double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.  Joel Lonigro pulled in 10 rebounds and also scored 8 points.  Jason Pierre, Shawn Wilson, and Michael brush combined for 11 points coming off the bench to help lift the Wolfpack,

"I am  so proud of the team, and the assistant coaches, for pulling together, and winning after all the adversity we faced," added Coach Johnson

The men's game at Butler on Friday has been postponed till Monday night at 6pm, due to the weather.  The men will be hosting a conference and regional opponent in Penn Highlands on Saturday at 1pm looking to better their seed in the WPCC Conference Tournament.
