Men's Basketball Wins Third in a Row

Saturday afternoon the men's basketball team hosted WPCC Conference rival Penn Highlands, in a contest that saw big implications for the upcoming WPCC Conference Tournament.  The Wolfpack came into the game riding a two game win streak, looking to give Penn Highlands their first in conference loss of the season.  In their previous matchup, Penn Highlands won on a three pointer in the closing seconds giving them a one point win over the Wolfpack.  In this meeting the Wolfpack returned the favor, and won a very close 80 to 79 game.

Jakir Hampton, once again, was the Wolfpacks leading scorer with 27 points, and was one of five members of the Wolfpack in double digit points.  Brandon Baird added 13 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season.  Joel Lonigro, and Tahiyr Vines both scored 12points each.  While Jason Pierre added 10 points.  The team combined for a season high 8 blocks, lead by Vines with 3.

The Wolfpack now play back to back games against Butler County Community College, Monday at Butler and Wednesday at home.  Both of these games are important to the Wolfpack for seeding in the WPCC Confernence Tournament this weekend.  Monday night the Wolfpack tipoff at 6pm, and 7pm on Wednesday.
